What This Website Provides
The main calculator shows Rahu Kaal, Yamagandam, Gulika Kaal, Abhijit Muhurat, Brahma Muhurta, Dur Muhurtam and Amrit Kaal from one city-and-date selection. The separate Choghadiya Today tool calculates current, daytime and nighttime Choghadiya using the same city coordinates and solar basis. Each supported city also has a permanent Rahu Kaal page so users can return to the same location, compare nearby cities and understand why the displayed clock time can change by place and date.
The site is designed for people who want a clear reference without installing an app or sharing precise device location. Calculations use stored city-centre reference coordinates and display clock times in Indian Standard Time (IST).
How the Data and Calculations Are Positioned
The site does not publish a fixed one-size-fits-all timetable. Solar-based timings depend on the selected location, date, sunrise, sunset and weekday. Some other categories use the preceding night or the Moon’s nakshatra. The calculation conventions, rounding and known limitations are documented on the Calculation Methodology page.
Different Panchang traditions and astronomical implementations can use different conventions. A difference from another published timetable does not automatically mean either source is broken; users should compare methodology when exact ceremonial timing matters.
Editorial and Quality Approach
Explanatory text on this site is written to help users understand what the calculator is doing, not merely to repeat a number. City pages include the stored reference coordinate, nearby supported locations and city-specific context. The calculation engine is regression-tested across all 30 supported cities and multiple boundary dates before a release is promoted.
We do not present traditional astrological timing labels as scientific predictions. The site also avoids telling users to delay urgent care, safety actions, legal obligations or necessary responsibilities because of a calendar label.
